Who handles your information

When you visit

The public website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting a website involves processing technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times. Cloudflare may process request and security information as part of providing its hosting services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore contacts Google to request the font files, which discloses connection information such as your IP address and browser details. See Google Fonts' privacy information.

The current website code does not add advertising trackers, marketing analytics, or its own tracking cookies. Hosting and security services may use technical information or necessary storage to deliver and protect the site. Your browser also caches downloaded files.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, such as your name, device information, order reference, or attachments. We use this information to answer questions, provide support, investigate problems, and keep relevant support records. Messages are handled through Gmail. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain relevant records, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it; some records may need to be retained for an outstanding dispute or a legal requirement.

Game saves and custom writing

The current game preview stores progress, choices, and any saved custom responses in your browser on your device. The marketing website does not upload or read those saves. Exported save files remain wherever you choose to store them. If you send a save file to us for support, we will receive the information it contains.

You can remove locally stored game data through your browser's site-data settings. This can permanently remove your progress, so export a backup first if you want to keep it. Clearing local storage does not delete support emails you have already sent.

Live AI responses are planned but not connected on this website. Before enabling a feature that sends your writing to an AI provider, we will explain what is sent, why, which provider processes it, and the available choices, and update this policy. Do not put personal or confidential information into game responses.

Future purchases

We plan to use Paddle for payments, subject to approval and integration. Checkout is not active. Before sales begin, this policy will describe the purchase information we receive and use to provide game access. If Paddle handles a future purchase, its own privacy notice will apply to information it collects during checkout. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.

Why information is used and shared

We use information to deliver and secure the website, respond to requests, and meet applicable obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these activities rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure site and providing support, steps requested before or under a contract, or legal obligations, as applicable. Features requiring consent will request it before the relevant processing.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and email providers process information needed for their services. We may also disclose relevant information where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may need to confirm that the request relates to you. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee complete security.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when practices change. Material changes, including the introduction of checkout or external AI processing, will be explained before the new feature collects information.
